Once upon a time in Tulsa?
I have been in Tulsa, OK for two weeks now and while I am learning a lot at my training, there is also so much free time that it's almost sad. I hate to complain, as about this time next week I will be back home with the kids school, my school and work pushing on my schedule, but I am a little lonely. It doesn't help that several of my coworkers have their spouses with them and it is making me miss my family even more. But all of this working closer to the goal, the other degree and the dream job. One day at time for the next two years...

Ch-ch-changes
After possibly the shortest career on record, I was fired from a job I was in love with. Heartbreaking, yes, but not nearly as heartbreaking as the month it took me to find another job. But I have done it. I found a new job, with okay pay and hours, but it doesn't start until August 8. This summer is just for softball, reading, fixing up my relationship with the kids and the husband. I am going to enjoy the next three weeks. I promise not to gripe or complain about the things I do not have. I promise to love every minute of my down time.
Since, starting August 24, I will be employed full time and starting Grad School! Yay me!

I did it!
After more than a decade and what felt like a lifetime of hard work, I did it! I finally graduated. On Saturday May 14, 2011, I graduated from Sul Ross State University with my BS in Biology. It was so much fun at the ceremony, and afterwards we picnicked and barbque'd the night away. My biggest supporter and I stop and pose for the following picture. Thanks to all who made it!

time
The bible says, there is a time for everything, a time for joy, a time for sorrow, a time for death, and etc. I just want to know in all this delineation of time, where is the time for me?

Great way to end the week, no sarcasm intended ;)
After the washer and dryer got repo'd and the table and chairs too, our house is a little short on furniture, but that's ok with me today. Because today I got my acceptance letter for Grad School! YES! School starts at the end of May, with 6 hours Summer session I and 6 hours Summer session II, then 6 hours in Fall 2011 and 6 hours in Spring 2012 and I have my teachers certificate. That is more than half of my graduate degree too! Yippee! But for now, I need to focus on my courses, studying for my teacher prep exam and graduate! Be blessed, because we are! Chrissy

Today, you know the one...
It's not Monday, thank God, but it has been a bad day anyways. After fighting with the hubs, and getting into a heated discussion with a creditor, it has been decided. The washer/dryer is going back. We cannot afford them. Flat out and after struggling to pay, and not making it, and dodging them coming looking for the money or the merchandise, I am ready to turn it over. I cannot make any more financial decisions. I am too tired. Maybe it would have been better if I had slept, but alas I didn't. I am ready to graduate, and to move far away. Might take the family, but I might not. I am aching for some solitude and peace. I will pray for it.

Feb how did you get here so soon?
Blink and January is gone. Today is Feb 1! My spring semester started with a bang as always since my mid winter course was still going on, so I was double booked on classes. It is going, the time is passing and in May I will be done with my bachelor's degree! I am going to keep on with my school, and my kids and my life will keep on passing! Maybe I will blink and it will be May?
