Do you know why I love you?- James

Same rules apply, I am just putting down what's been on my heart for awhile....

James,
Do you know why I love you?
Because you are funny, and smart and handsome.
So funny and smart at the same time, sometimes I don't get it, but laugh anyways so I don't look dumb.
You have passion and drive.
You put yourself through school and not only finished, but did great and got a wonderful job.
You pride yourself on your logical thinking.
You bring logic to places I have never thought of taking it, like politics and religion
You have a wonderful wife, and a sweet new baby on the way.
You are going to be the world best daddy, because you have been practicing on Ms. Murphy and Elliot.
You take more pictures of your pets, than I do my children.
You put your family's needs first
I can still remember the Michael Jackson contests we used to have.
You kick my butt on any Nintendo game out there, Wii tennis champ
Because hopefully, parenthood will bring you and I closer, like it did for Anna and me.
Because you are my brother and I wouldn't change one thing about you!
I love you!

Do you know why I love you?- Anna

This post is for my family, individually. I have had these thoughts on my heart and wanted to lay pen to paper, or fingertip to keyboard, in this case...
Also to be noted, I didn't start with my husband mostly because the reasons I love him are a little more private.

Anna,
Do you know why I love you?
Because you are beautiful, inside and out.
Fearless, funny and smart.
You have the courage to stand up for what you believe is right, for your family and for your lifestyle.
You have the courage to home school your children. :)
You live your life one day and a time, and take in the deeper meanings of life's lessons.
You were my mother, my sister and now you are my best friend.
You pray, without ceasing, for your friends and family
Your faith is never ending
Your love for your family comes second only to your love for the Lord.
You volunteer what little time you have left to your church, and your family there.
You are the kind of mom I aspire to be.
You are a real Proverbs 31 woman.
And that is why I love you.

If only for a moment...

It seems I am always blogging about changes, lack of time or sleep. I cannot promise that this post will not be more of the same.
After a super hard semester, I have given up on going back to school. I refuse to go back and not do my best, I worked too much to devote all the time I needed to it.
AT&T is also in the past, I have moved on from that place. The people I met there, are still on my good friends list and when I see them, I can smile at the misery we survived together.
I then moved on to another chemical company, which sadly didn't last either. The temp company I was working for called me after work one Friday, and told me not to report the next Monday. So much for notice. ;)
So, for now, I am working at a compressor company. I am mainly a receptionist, administrative person, and I am taking on new responsibilities almost everyday. And I love it. It's new and challenging and everyday is a little bit different.
Claudia is growing up. working her butt off at school and two softball teams. She is pitching on her rec team and really had a hard time at her last game. But, she is driven, just like her dad, to improve and she was even practicing on her own yesterday.
Michael is a little boy now, no longer a baby, laughing at bodily functions and getting dirty at every chance. He is playing baseball on the Dodgers and is actually pretty good. He spends a lot of time with me watching Claudia, so we are getting along a lot better than before.
As far as life goes, we have moved forward in some areas, backwards in others and stayed the same in some as well.
I promise to not take this life to seriously, not get upset or frustrated by the things I don't have or can't get, and to remember to enjoy the little things,
Be blessed-
Chrissy
